The Venue

Hertfordshire Young Mariners’ Base set in the picturesque Lea Valley Country Park, 3 minutes’ walk from Cheshunt Railway Station boasts many years’ experience of running fun, safe, challenging team building, land and water based activities including:  Canoeing, Kayaking, Climbing, Caving, Raft Building, Bellboating, Dragon Boaring, Sailing, Windsurfing, Problem Solving, Adventure Games, Orienteering, Camping and Bushcraft.
The venue is open year round and proves excellent as a base for youth groups including National Citizen Service, exchange or youth development programmes and Duke of Edinburgh expeditions.
